My computer life started on a Commodore 64. This is the computer I used for many years to play games on and learn to program (BASIC, little bit assembler). In the early days cassettes were my storage medium until got a summer job and bought a disk drive.
The Commodore 64 setup included a 1530 datasette, 1541 II & FD2000 disk drives and a Final Cartridge III. When needed I could also fit a Simon’s BASIC cartridge, Power Cartridge and an Expert Cartridge.
Later I upgraded to an Amiga 500, which I used with a 2400 baud modem to get on the Internet for the very fist time. This machine was followed by an Amiga 1200 with a Motorola 68060 turbo card and a 14K4 modem.
I also acquired a Commodore VIC 20, Commodore 128, Amiga 3000 and Amiga 4000.
